Saray Cuisine: Experience Authentic Mediterranean Flavors in Cliffside Park

We ordered liver to go from Saray and it was excellent. The liver was tender, flavorful, and still warm when we got it. The bread was very fresh, which made the meal even better. The service was quick and friendly. Definitely a great place for take out.

stopped for a lunch on a quiet day so can't speak about atmosphere. really liked the food, quality, service, presentation. many people here complain about the price and I admit I was surprised to see the lunch food with only one meat dish, pre-made(was already in the buffet containers) with soup and no drink costed $30+ something. however decided to leave all stars in place due to how well it tasted)

Fried calamari super soft and crunchybread with kaymak and honey gotta try. We went there for dinner and next time will be there for breakfast

After long time I came to Saray Cuisine back. I’m glad I came back. They have chef’s special on Friday and Sunday. I got lamb shoulder. It was really soft and juicy. It starts from 7:00pm finish at 9:30pm. I love that special which is not in the menu. Thank you so much guys!! Recommend everyone!!!!

A small cozy restaurant with Turkish cuisine, you can order from the menu, there are also ready-made dishes. We ordered Iskander, doner plate and a ready-made dish and octopus. We liked everything, everything is very tasty. Ready-made dishes are prepared home-style deliciously, there is a large selection on the display case, very appetizing. Doner is also very tasty, they cook quickly, everything is fresh. Large selection of desserts. The restaurant has its own parking. Pleasant service. I recommend this place

A most delightful Foodie’s family Turkish dinner in northeastern NJ, marred by a most terrible service. the principal waiter failed to bring ice even after two requests , then disappeared a second waiter (busboy?) collected empty dishes, which a minute later, crashed onto the table!!!!—— it seems he hasn’t heard of a tray or a cart!?!?!# The menu is shortish and easily navigable. a lovely selection of Cold Starters, which could be ordered as a Meze The EGGPLANT SALAD is outstanding .The smoky flavor from the roasted eggplant (aubergine) comes out. It’s chunky. Very well balanced seasoning. The EZME is a lovely “caviar” or tapenade of mixed vegetables. It’s uniquely Turkish . The LEBNI is a very cooling and so very flavorful yogurt dip. Pacanca Boregi, a uniquely Turkish savory phyllo roll of meats and cheese. The MIXED GRILL is a large platter of grilled meats seasoned Turkish spices. Lamb, chicken, doner and beef. It is served with Bulgur, very flavorful wheat berries, and fresh pickled onions. There’s also grilled chilies and tomatoes. The ISKENDER, a delightful large serving of layers of doner gyros and strips of lamb… it’s grilled and sautéed (?)… absolutely flavorful and textural. It comes with house yogurt that amps up flavors. The restaurant is very spacious and very well lit, very conducive to dining. SERVICR HOWEVER IS ATROCIOUS. The first waiter didn’t bother to bring ice despite at least two requests and then disappeared. The second waiter (busboy?) gathers empty plates, which are of various shapes, all at once by hand. THEN CRASHES IT ALL ONTO TO TABLE… this is a very avoidable event, IF AND ONLY IF, a tray or cart is used.

This place was great! Came here for Sunday dinner with family. We loved it the food was so fresh and delicious. The service was so nice and friendly I got the grilled lamb and we shared some calamari and a mixed grill platter. The bread they bring out for you was amazing and they give u butter and these other sauces that we loved. Would definitely come back here to try some other dishes

It’s absolutely above and beyond service. Food was great. Friendly owner. Very clean. Strongly recommend this place.
